Mentat Ledger products are designed to run locally. Compass and Horizon do not require an account, bank connection or cloud database. Financial data entered into the product is stored in your browser storage and in backup or snapshot files you choose to create. It is not sent to Mentat Ledger unless you choose to share it.

Website and checkout data
If you email us, we process the information you send, such as your email address, message, order reference and technical details needed to answer the request.
Checkout, payment processing, invoices and applicable transaction taxes are handled by the checkout provider. Mentat Ledger does not receive or store full payment-card details.
Product data
Compass and Horizon run locally in your browser. Data may be stored in browser storage and in backup or snapshot files you create. Compass backups can retain inactive second-person data and history from both plan modes. Horizon backups contain the business setup, cash events, scenario settings and review history. Standalone snapshots are designed for readable output and do not replace a reversible backup. Do not send working files or financial data for support unless necessary. Remove information you do not want to disclose before sharing a file.
Referral tracking and your choice
The website can use optional Lemon Squeezy referral tracking to attribute a purchase to a referral partner. It is loaded only after you choose to allow it. The website works without referral tracking.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time through Privacy choices in the website footer. Choosing essential only prevents the tracking script from loading on the next page load.
Legal bases and service providers
Support and pre-sale correspondence is processed to respond to your request, take steps at your request before a purchase, perform the customer relationship and protect legitimate support and security interests. Order and accounting records are processed to perform the purchase and meet legal obligations. Optional referral tracking is based on consent.
Service providers used for website hosting, email, checkout, payment, tax administration and referral attribution may process the limited data needed for those services under their own terms.
Retention
Support correspondence and order references are kept only as long as reasonably required for support, administration, accounting and dispute handling.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data held directly by Mentat Ledger by emailing mentatledger@outlook.com. Separate providers may process transaction or referral information under their own privacy terms. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority in your country.
